Damian Priest seems to be okay following an injury scare.

Less than 48 hours ago, Damian Priest successfully defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre in the challenger’s home country of Scotland. However, coming out of the match, concern was raised over the condition of the champion, as Priest’s ankle got caught up in the ropes during the clash, and there has now been an update on the situation which caused viewers to worry about a possible injury to one of RAW’s top stars.

Per Fightful Select, it’s believed that Damian Priest is thankfully okay following the scary moment in which many feared for his ankle. It was clarified that the 42-year-old was selling well during the contest and subsequently received a lot of praise for his performance post-match.

“The initial word from backstage in WWE was that Damian Priest was fine, and was effectively selling during the match. Priest received a lot of praise for his WWE Clash at the Castle performance.”

This will come as a huge relief to WWE and its fans, particularly as we are not that far removed from Priest’s Judgment Day stablemate Rhea Ripley having to relinquish the Women’s World Championship due to a shoulder injury. Viewers can now look ahead to what might be next in the reign of ‘El Campeón’ on the company’s flagship show.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the condition of Damian Priest as soon as we hear more.
