Jordynne Grace wants WWE and TNA to hold a crossover show.

On May 28, NXT viewers were shocked when TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace came out to challenge Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship. The clash excited fans as it represented the newly found working relationship between WWE and TNA, and the Knockouts Champion has now discussed her crossover appearances and what she’d like to see in the future.

Speaking to Sports Illustrated, Grace first reflected on her recent match with Roxanne Perez, comparing the contest to that which would typically be found in the TNA Knockouts division.

“That was a TNA Knockouts match. There is a certain way TNA Knockouts wrestle, and it’s gritty, competitive, and passionate–and the WWE audience got to witness that.”

On how the match came together, Grace explained that TNA President Anthony Cicione informed her thet WWE wanted to bring her in for an appearance, and that she initially thought she’d be in the Women’s North American Championship ladder match before learning that she’d face Perez.

“The new President of TNA spoke with me about a month ago and told me WWE wanted to have me back. I was like, ‘What is happening?’ We spoke specifically about Battleground, and honestly, I thought I was going to be in the [North American title] ladder match. When I found out it was a singles match, and for the title, I was mind-blown. Going back, it’s been a great experience. It’s impressive how much of a well-oiled machine they are in WWE. There is someone with an answer to everything. And they have a barber on-site. That surprised me.”

Talking about her ideal landscape, Jordynne put it out there that her dream is for WWE and TNA to come together to hold a crossover Premium Live Event.

“My pie-in-the-sky dream is to have a Worlds Collide pay-per-view. That’s something everybody–wrestlers and fans–would want to see.”

-Jordynne Grace

Extending an invite to anyone in the wrestling world, Grace stated that she’d wrestle Perez 10 more times if it was possible, but welcomed all comers to battle her in TNA.

“I’d wrestle her 10 more times if I could. I have a bone to pick with Tatum, too, and she can definitely come to this open challenge on Friday. Whether it’s WWE or AAA or Stardom or MLW, anybody is welcome in TNA.”

-Jordynne Grace

To close, Grace expressed her excitement at the potential opportunities that could upon up as a result of WWE and TNA’s new relationship.

“This is opening up doors and it’s leading to more opportunities for more people. I think it’s going to lead to something special.”

-Jordynne Grace

After Grace’s recent NXT run, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the TNA Knockouts Champion pop up on WWE’s third brand once again in the near future, particularly with the relationship between the two companies seemingly growing stronger. For now, though, Jordynne’s next NXT showing remains unclear, although you never know who the next to make a crossover appearance will be.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further on Jordynne Grace as soon as we hear more.
