The reason behind Bobby Roode being in Detroit this weekend has now been revealed.
As reported yesterday by PWInsider, Bobby Roode has been spotted in Detroit, Michigan, ahead of tomorrow night’s SummerSlam premium live event. At the time of the initial report, it was unclear as to the reasoning behind Roode’s presence, however, we now have additional information regarding his involvement.
PWInsider are now reporting that Roode is set to work as a producer at the event, as well as on this upcoming Monday’s episode of RAW.
“As PWInsider.com broke yesterday, Bobby Roode is in town in Detroit for Summerslam. In asking around today, we are told he will be helping out as a producer and will also be at Raw this Monday in that role.”

The former United States Champion last competed for WWE in late 2022, and his since undergone several neck surgeries, including a neck fusion surgery for his C5/6 vertebrae.
