STARDOM’s annual major December Korakuen Hall named “Year-End Climax” happened just 5 days away from Dream Queendom in the Sumo Hall. The Korakuen featured seven matches, including 7Upp defeating Syuri & Ami Sohrei, but the interesting part here was that Syuri called out Mayu Iwatani after the match, and challenged her to an IWGP Women’s Championship match on the January 4th Tokyo Dome City Hall show. Syuri defeated and eliminated Iwatani in the 5STAR Grand Prix and will now try to win the IWGP Women’s Title from Iwatani. In the co-main event, a Twelve Women Elimination match between Oedo Tai & Queen’s Quest happened as a preview to the upcoming Goddess Of Stardom Championship match, with the Queen’s Quest team winning after Kamitani eliminated Momo Watanabe at the end of the match.
The main event was a preview match for the three Singles Championship matches at Dream Queendom. Suzu Suzuki, Saori Anou, and Megan Bayne defeated Maika, MIRAI, and Giulia in over 21 minutes when Megan pinned Giulia with the F5 just days from their NJPW Strong Women’s Championship match. After the match, all six Wrestlers held a promo to build up their Championship matches.
