Ricochet is currently set to enter free agency this summer.

Yesterday afternoon, it came out that current Intercontinental Championship contender Chad Gable’s WWE contract had entered its final week. The news came as a shock to many, especially given his current prominent role on Monday nights, but it seems as if the Alpha Academy leader isn’t the only RAW roster member who may find himself entering free agency in the near future.

Per Fightful Select & PWN’s Viper, it’s believed that Ricochet’s current WWE deal expires this summer, lining up with previous indications that the 35-year-old signed a five-year contract back in 2019.

Fightful Select, along with PWN’s Viper, have learned that Ricochet’s WWE contract is set to expire this Summer.”

Unsurprisingly, the report goes on to say that Ricochet is expected to receive heavy interest from companies across the wrestling world, and the news comes just days after Will Ospreay of AEW expressed his desire to step into the ring with the ‘One and Only’ again.

Many fans will have their own opinions on what they’d like Ricochet to do, but whether he opts to leave the company this summer remains to be seen with Fightful noting that there are discussions planned between WWE and the former Intercontinental Champion to discuss his contract status.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Ricochet’s WWE contract status as soon as we hear more.
