Angel Garza is staying with WWE.

Early last month, it came out that Angel Garza was one of those in WWE whose contract was coming up this year. Initially, it was believed that he could enter the free agent market on August 1, but it now seems as if Garza will remain with the company into the future.

Per a Facebook stream, the 31-year-old confirmed that he has recently re-signed with WWE, committing another three years to the company he first signed with in 2019.

“No, I have not left. In fact, I just re-signed for another three years. It was an offer I straight-up could not reject, so there is that.”

This sees Angel with WWE through to August 2027, although there is yet to be an update on the status of his current stablemate and tag team partner Humberto Carrillo, whose current deal is still believed to be up in August 1 this year. Given Garza’s extension, many would assume that Berto will follow suit and stay as part of a team with his cousin, but, for now, this remains to be seen.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the WWE status’ of Angel and Berto as soon as we hear more.
