Joe Hendry may be appearing on NXT frequently in the coming weeks and months.
On June 18, Joe Hendry shocked wrestling fans by making a surprise appearance on NXT, competing in a battle royal to determine the number one contender to the brand’s top title. Despite getting some promo time before entering, many viewers were dismayed when Hendry was dumped out of the ring in quick fashion, but it seems as if we haven’t seen the end of the internet sensation on NXT.
Per Fightful Select, it’s believed that Hendry is set to feature ‘heavily’ as part of crossovers between NXT and TNA in the near future, with the companies wanting play off his ability to create viral moments.
“Fightful Select’s Corey Brennan has been told by multiple sources in NXT that there are plans to use Hendry ‘heavily’ as part of the NXT and TNA crossover in the coming weeks and months.”

Those who turned off Sunday night’s Heatwave show immediately following the conclusion of the main event may have missed the split-second tease of Joe Hendry that appeared just before the event went off the air. This suggests that it won’t be too long before the crossover between NXT and TNA is back in full swing.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Joe Hendry’s NXT status as soon as we hear more.
