The former NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion could appear on WWE TV imminently.

Since wrestling his final match for New Japan Pro Wrestling on June 9th, Hikuleo has been strongly linked with a move to WWE, with many expecting him to link up with his brothers Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa as yet another new member of The Bloodline.

Fightful Select are now reporting that WWE sources have confirmed that Hikuleo has signed with the company, although his start date remains unclear.

“Hikuelo was widely expected to join WWE as his brothers Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa did in the previous months. WWE sources this week confirmed that to be the case and said that Hikuleo has joined the company, but no start date was clarified to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp.”

WWE’s had reportedly held an interest in Haku’s sons for some time, with Vince McMahon’s return to the company and the subsequent hiring freeze as a result of the TKO merger having put a stop to the move in early 2023.

At SummerSlam, Cody Rhodes will defend his Undisputed WWE Championship against the new ‘Tribal Chief’ Solo Sikoa, and thus, Hikuleo could make an immediate impact by joining The Bloodline at the show.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the future plans for Hikuleo as soon as we hear more.
