‘Switchblade’ Jay White is reportedly healthy and may return to AEW soon.
Jay White last wrestled on the July 6 edition of AEW Collision when he lost to Hangman Page in the semi-finals of the 2024 Owen Hart tournament. It emerged shortly afterwards that the New Zealander had suffered a foot injury, something which led the company to vacating the World Trios Championships, currently held by The Patriarchy. Now, it appears as if we won’t have to wait long to see the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion make a comeback.
Per Fightful Select, it’s believed that Jay White is now healthy again after his injury, with there already being plans regarding his return.
“Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp has learned that White is healthy, and that there are plans for him to return to AEW TV soon.”

White’s ‘Bang Bang Gang’ stablemates Juice Robinson and The Gunn Club will attempt to recapture trios gold for the faction in seven days time when they take part in the four-way ladder match at AEW All In: London. As for ‘Switchblade’ himself, while there are believed to be plans for his return, it isn’t yet known when we will next see Jay on our screens.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Jay White’s AEW return as soon as we hear more.
