Bobby Lashley may join MVP and Shelton Benjamin in AEW very soon.

On the September 25 ‘Grand Slam’ edition of AEW Dynamite, fans witnessed the debut of MVP when the 50-year-old interrupted Prince Nana’s update on Swerve Strickland. It came at a time when there was heavy speculation over the future of the former members of The Hurt Business, and, after Shelton Benjamin made his first appearance in AEW last night, an update has emerged on the group’s former leader.

When talking about MVP signing a contract with AEW, Fightful Select confirmed that, as well as recent debutant Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley has signed with the company, with all three being finalised a number of weeks ago.

“Now, the same goes for Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley, the latter of which has an impending debut. We’re told that the three all nailed down their deals a number of weeks ago.”

The report clarifies that MVP isn’t believed to be stepping into the ring anytime soon, with Lashley and Benjamin expected to be competing while having the legendary manager in their corner. As of yet, there hasn’t been an indication as to exactly when Lashley will first emerge in AEW, although it’s unlikely that it will be too long before the former WWE Champion returns to our screens.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Bobby Lashley signing with AEW as soon as we hear more.
