Rhea Ripley is set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a fractured orbital bone.

On the October 29 edition of WWE NXT, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez were seen walking away from a bloodied Rhea Ripley in the parking lot, prompting the company to later release an update stating that the Australian had suffered a fracture to her right orbital socket. Now, news has emerged on Ripley’s injury status and where it may have occurred.

Per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, it’s believed that Ripley’s injury is very much the case, and that she’s going to be sidelined for some time.

“She (Rhea Ripley) has a fractured orbital bone. So the injury they (WWE) announced is pretty much legit. It happened last week.— She is gonna be out for a while.”

Adding to this, PWInsider are reporting that the injury is believed to have happened on the October 21 edition of WWE RAW, when Rhea brawled with Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

“The belief among those we’ve spoken with is that it likely happened in a headbutt spot when Rhea confronted Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan on the 10/21 Raw. Ripley did not appear on the 10/28 edition. We are told Ripley has been pulled from this weekend’s WWE Raw taping in Saudi Arabia as well.

As of her, it’s unclear how long the 28-year-old is set to spend out of action with the injury. Of course, we wish Ripley all the best with her recovery and hope to see the former Women’s World Champion back in action as soon as possible.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Rhea Ripley’s injury status as soon as we hear more.
