Becky Lynch has opened up about her future.
In June 2024, Becky Lynch’s WWE contract expired and many questions have been asked over wondering when the former Women’s World Champion will return to the ring. Although she’s is believed to have reached an agreement on a new deal with the company back in January, ‘The Man’ is still yet to re-emerge on Monday Night RAW and she’s now discussed how she currently views her future.
Speaking on the Getting Over: Wrestling Podcast, Becky Lynch talked about how she doesn’t know what her future in wrestling looks like moving forward.
“I’m being so vague and I don’t mean to be in any way cagey, but I feel like I have a great mind for wrestling, a great love for it, and so it’s always going to be there, in my heart and in my head, it’s part of my family. It’s the reason I have my family so it’s so important to me, I just don’t know what that looks like in the future. I think life continues to surprise me in wonderful ways recently. You can make all these plans, but sometimes things don’t go the way you intended but in the long run, something works out better than you expected. I feel like that’s been my whole run.”
-Becky Lynch
Lynch last wrestled on May 27 when she lost to Liv Morgan inside a steel cage. It’s worth noting that Becky’s husband Seth Rollins has previously said that he doesn’t think his wife is done with competing in the ring so we may not have seen the last of ‘Big Time Becks’ in WWE.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Becky Lynch’s wrestling future as soon as we hear more.
