Saraya would be open to facing Mercedes Moné.
Last week, AEW’s Saraya revealed to Sports Illustrated that she’ll soon be coming to the end of her days competing in the ring. The former Women’s World Champion has had a legendary career to this point, and many would be interested in seeing her lock up with Mercedes Moné at least once more before she hangs up her boots. Now, Saraya has addressed the possibility of facing ‘The CEO’ again in the future.
Speaking on Casual Conversations with The Classic, Saraya said that she’s love to face Mercedes again, and revealed that it was meant to happen a while ago, but she’s currently unsure whether she’ll be with AEW to do it in future.
“I don’t know. I mean, we both wanted to, so we were just waiting for that trigger to be pulled. But I think she has other people that she has to wrestle for right now, so I don’t know when that time would be. Unfortunately, I may not be there to be able to do that with her. It should have happened a while ago, but it is what it is. We wanted it, but it hasn’t been the right time, I guess.”

Saraya is currently having time off from AEW, and hasn’t competed for them since October. It’s unknown when the 32-year-old will return to our screens, though she recently said that she doesn’t believe they need her in the company right now. Whether she does find herself wrestling Mercedes Moné in the near future remains to be seen.
