Saraya says she hasn’t spoken to WWE about coming back.
Around two weeks ago, it emerged that Saraya had left AEW after initially signing with the company in 2022. Immediately, many linked her with a possible move to WWE, particularly since the former NXT Women’s Champion had previously emphasised her openness to coming back to the company if a good opportunity presented itself. However, the star has now revealed the latest on whether a WWE return is on the cards.
Speaking to Bill Pritchard of WrestleZone, Saraya addressed rumours of a WWE return, saying she is yet to speak to the company about potential coming back.
“That’s something that with this year, I kind of want to get all my business and stuff, deals out the way, like under my name and all that kind of stuff. Because I’m not — people think I’m going back to WWE or whatever, because there’s this huge rumor mill happening right now. But I haven’t spoken to them. At least not right now, I haven’t spoken to them.”

Continuing, Saraya discussed how WWE are much more willing to let talent take on outside projects these days, saying that, if she were to go back to the company, she feels they’d let her carry on with ventures like acting and podcasting.
“I’m also focusing on my podcast, acting, all that kind of fun stuff too. I wouldn’t want it to affect my brand. And I feel like WWE now is being more open and receptive to people doing outside stuff. They are much more comfortable with that and are much more accepting of that. I feel like, if I ever did go back, I feel like they would be understanding at this point and kind of let me do my thing.”

While she hasn’t yet spoken to WWE about a return, Saraya recently highlighted the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber as things she’d like to do that she didn’t get the chance to participate in during her previous run with the company. The 32-year-old also talked about wanting to get back to in-ring training this year, particularly expressing interest in visiting Natalya’s school to train with the current WWE star.
