Scorpio Sky once thought his AEW run was over.
On July 5, Scorpio Sky returned to AEW TV for the first time in almost a year. The star re-emerged when he answered Max Caster’s open challenge, securing a win in just under a minute, and he’s now reflected on his AEW absence.
Speaking on the Creating Character Podcast, Sky revealed that there was a time when he thought he wouldn’t be returning to AEW at all, underlining how happy he is to be back in the fold.
“To be completely honest with you, there was a time where I thought I was never going back to AEW. It just felt like things were heading in that direction. That’s not what I wanted, and fortunately, it’s not what they wanted. We worked it out. I’m really happy to be back.”

Sky is a former two-time TNT Champion and was also one half of the inaugural AEW World Tag Team Champions with Frankie Kazarian as part of SCU. Now he’s returned to our screens, it will be interesting to see how AEW feature the 42-year-old moving forward.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Scorpio Sky’s AEW return as soon as we hear more.
