MVP says The Hurt Syndicate are here to make stars.
In October, Bobby Lashley joined Shelton Benjamin and MVP in AEW to form the stable known as The Hurt Syndicate. The team became World Tag Team Champions in January and added MJF to their ranks the following May. With the group currently going from strength to strength each week, MVP has underlined their aims moving forward.
Speaking to the Chicago Sun Times, MVP discussed how Tony Khan has allowed them to finish The Hurt Syndicate story in their own way, saying that they know how to make stars.
“Tony has given us that gift of allowing us to finish telling The Hurt Syndicate Story our way. We made clear to Tony that we are OGs and we understand it’s time to make new stars, and that’s our goal. We’re not here for a long time and we know how to do business, make money and how to make stars.”

Lashley and Benjamin successfully retained the World Tag Team Championships at All In, meaning that their reign has reached 177 days and counting. With MJF earning a future AEW World Championship shot via the Men’s Casino Gauntlet, The Hurt Syndicate show no sign of slowing down as we head into August and beyond.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on The Hurt Syndicate as soon as we hear more.
