Chad Gable has confirmed his injury.
Back in June, BodySlam.net first reported that Chad Gable is dealing with an injury. At the time, the nature of the damage was undisclosed, though it came out now long after that the 39-year-old was set for shoulder surgery at the start of July. Now, Gable himself has confirmed what his injury is.
Being interviewed during a Minnesota Twins game, Gable confirmed he’s dealing with a rotator cuff injury.
“I’m looking at the silver lining here. I got a little injury to my rotator cuff, but what it did do was buy me some time off the road to be home with my family and do stuff like this. Come to a baseball game on a Sunday, which I never get to do. So, find the bright side, right?”

Elsewhere in the interview, Gable recalled competing at WrestleMania 41 under the El Grande Americano mask, something which is now donned by Ludwig Kaiser in Gable’s absence. As yet, there’s no word on how long he will be out, but his presence will certainly be missed by his ‘American Made’ stablemates on Monday Night RAW.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Chad Gable’s injury status as soon as we hear more.
