AEW have retained ‘Daddy Magic’ Matt Menard.
In 2021, Matt Menard made his AEW debut with Angelo Parker as part of 2.0. During their time in the company, the duo have often featured alongside Daniel Garcia, having unsuccessfully challenged for the AEW World Trios Championships on two occasions. The 41-year-old has also endeared himself to fans through his spells on commentary over the last couple of years, and now it seems as if Menard’s future with All Elite Wrestling is secure.
Per Fightful Select, it’s believed Matt Menard has signed a new long-term contract extension with AEW.

The report notes that Menard’s deal was originally set to expire around All In: Texas, but he’s now tied down to the company through the summer of 2030. While he’s only featured in a handful of matches in 2025, he remains a popular member of the roster and many will be happy to see him stay with AEW.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Matt Menard’s AEW contract status as soon as we hear more.
