The second-generation talent will remain in AEW for the foreseeable future.

Hook has been absent from in-ring action since the April 9th edition of AEW Dynamite, with many fans having questioned his contract status with the company during this period.

Fightful Select have now revealed that Hook re-signed with AEW at some point last year, with the former FTW Champion believed to be under a multi-year deal.

“Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp learned that despite his recent absence from the ring, Hook is firmly under contract with All Elite Wrestling. In fact, Fightful has learned that Hook actually re-signed with AEW at some point in 2024. So far, details on the deal are few and far between, outside of that it’s a multi-year contract.”

The report additionally noted that according to those close to the situation, reports of Hook retaining Barry Bloom’s group as representation came after he had already put pen to paper on the aforementioned multi-year extension.

Hook’s AEW return was teased during the August 13th edition of AEW Dynamite, putting to bed speculation that his time with the company was coming to an end.
