Several WWE names admire AEW’s “very nice, very evil” star.
Earlier this week, Fightful Select reported that Danhausen’s AEW contract had been extended by the company due to injury time, though it was noted that he would’ve preferred his deal to have simply expired providing a lack of creative direction being presented.
In today’s edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer revealed that Danhausen has multiple fans within WWE, one of whom being Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
“There are those in WWE into that gimmick, including Dwayne Johnson, who was a big fan of him when he first started making his name.”

Danhausen has been absent from in-ring action in All Elite Wrestling since competing in an AEW TNT Championship Right To Challenge Anytime, Anywhere Battle Royal during the AEW: Worlds End Zero Hour back on December 30th, 2023.
Despite his absence from AEW, Danhausen has remained active across the independent scene competing for the likes of House of Glory, GCW, and a multitude of other promotions.
