‘The OTC’ doesn’t plan on calling time on his WWE career anytime soon.

WWE fans have long considered it a formality that Roman Reigns will ultimately follow in the footsteps of the likes of The Rock and John Cena in making the transition from professional wrestling to Hollywood, but it now appears that Reigns is eyeing up the best of both worlds.

Speaking to Stephanie McMahon during the latest episode of What’s Your Story?, Reigns revealed that he doesn’t intend to stop being a WWE Superstar despite stepping into the world of acting.

“I wanted to be the first guy who could do both, as opposed to—I know John [Cena] did, and he did it his way. But to really be able to do both and like damn near lead a movie and then also still main event a pay-per-view and to have that type of responsibility, because there’s a lot riding on that. I do understand there’s insurances and all different things behind it. But to be able to hold that type of responsibility and to be able to juggle both, I think that’s something that this generation—and hopefully I’m one of the first—to be able to do it. So, I don’t want to stop being a WWE Superstar in order to wear other hats. I’m always going to be a WWE Superstar. I’m always going to be Roman Reigns, and I don’t want to ever have to choose.”

Reigns is set to face Bronson Reed at WWE: Clash in Paris this Sunday at the Paris La Défense Arena, with the former Undisputed WWE Champion currently at war with The Vision on Monday Night RAW.

In terms of what’s next for Reigns as far as the silver screen is concerned, production on ‘Street Fighter’ is reportedly set to begin on September 2nd, with Reigns believed to be cast as Akuma, whilst Cody Rhodes and NJPW’s Hirooki Goto are also set to feature as both Guile and E Honda respectively.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Roman Reigns’ plans to venture into Hollywood as soon as we hear more.
