Talent reportedly believe Chris Jericho is testing the waters with WWE.
Over the last few weeks, speculation has run rampant regarding the future of Chris Jericho. The former AEW World Champion hasn’t appeared for the company since the Dynasty pay-per-view back in April, and, with reports indicating that his deal is set to expire towards the end of 2025, rumours emerged regarding a possible return to WWE. While there’s been no official word on what might be next for Jericho, it now seems as if he may be testing the waters regarding a comeback to his old stomping ground.
Per PWInsider Elite, it’s said that the word amongst talent is that Jericho has made overtures to see if WWE are interested in him should he become available in the near future.
“There’s been conversation within WWE about Chris Jericho returning. Among a lot of talents that were heard from this week, the belief is Jericho has made overtures to see whether WWE has interest in him if/when his AEW deal expires.”

As of a few weeks ago, Jericho’s name hadn’t been brought up in creative for either AEW or WWE. As it stands, the next time fans will be able to see the star back in the ring remains to be seen, although the situation is one to keep an eye on in the coming weeks and months.
