WWE continue to look towards international markets.

In recent years, WWE has stepped up its push to attract a broader global audience by staging Premium Live Events in diverse locations, with stops in the United Kingdom, Paris, Germany, Puerto Rico, Saudi Arabia, and Australia.

BodySlam+ are now reporting that internal discussions have been held regarding WWE hosting Premium Live Events in Japan, Mexico, and Spain in the coming years.

WWE are set to return to Japan for back-to-back nights at the Ryōgoku Kokugikan in Tokyo on Friday, October 17 and Saturday, October 18.

A Premium Live Event in Spain would mark the country’s first, while Mexico would also be hosting its inaugural PLE. However, WWE has already established a significant foothold there following its acquisition of AAA earlier this year.

In related news, Nick Khan confirmed that Italy will be hosting their first-ever WWE Premium Live Event early next year. You can read more about that here.

Additionally, Japan isn’t the only major Asian market on WWE’s radar, with recent reports indicating that the company have discussed holding a PLE in China. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the prospect of WWE holding Premium Live Events in Japan, Mexico, and Spain in the future as soon as we hear more.
