The WWE Women’s Champion is looking forward to making history in Riyadh.
WWE announced on September 12 that WrestleMania 43 will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2027, marking the first time the event will take place outside North America.
Speaking to Going Ringside, Tiffany Stratton expressed her excitement about returning to Riyadh for WrestleMania 43, adding that she can’t wait to be part of history at the event.
“I’m excited. The last time we were there I believe, we went on this little safari adventure, and I hope we get to do that again because that was super fun. I think Bianca mentioned women are making history over there, and I can’t wait to be a part of that myself. So I’m super excited and I can’t wait.”
-Tiffany Stratton
Stratton is set to defend the WWE Women’s Championship against both Nia Jax and Jade Cargill on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
WWE’s press conference announcing WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh included Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque, Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority Chairman Turki Alalshikh, WWE Hall of Famers The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels, and current Superstars Seth Rollins, Bianca Belair, Logan Paul, Charlotte Flair, and Liv Morgan.
Elsewhere during the interview, Stratton provided an update amidst speculation that she may have been injured. You can read more about that here.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on WrestleMania 43 being held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 2027 as soon as we hear more.
