The former ROH World Champion’s comeback is on the horizon.
On August 7, Jonathan Gresham revealed via X that he had suffered a stroke two days earlier, which left him unable to move or see on his left side and struggling to speak, with doctors believing it may have been linked to a severe case of COVID-19.
In today’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer revealed that Jonathan Gresham is expecting to be cleared to return within the next few weeks.

Gresham’s last in-ring appearance was at GCW Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIV on August 2, where he fell to WWE’s Pete Dunne.
With Gresham’s contract with TNA Wrestling having expired earlier this year, it remains to be seen where the former ROH World Champion will appear next.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Jonathan Gresham’s return to the ring, and we continue to wish him all the best in his recovery.
