The New Day aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.

On October 7, Fightful Select reported that Xavier Woods had re-signed with WWE on a multi-year contract, news the New Day member later confirmed himself on X.

now appears that Woods’ longtime tag team partner Kofi Kingston is also staying put, as Fightful Select reports the former WWE Champion re-signed with the company earlier this year on what is believed to be a five-year deal.

“Fightful Select is told that Kofi Kingston re-signed with WWE at some point earlier this year. WWE sources indicated that they were of the belief that the deal would be a five-year contract, taking him into 2030, when he’ll be nearly 49.”

Having spent nearly two decades with WWE and established himself as one of the greatest tag team wrestlers in the company’s history, retaining Kofi Kingston’s services marks a major positive for the promotion. His experience and leadership continue to make him an invaluable presence behind the scenes and in the ring.

In other WWE contract news, Santos Escobar has reportedly signed a new deal with the company, just one day after officially becoming a free agent. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on future plans for The New Day as soon as we hear more.
