Jazmyn Nyx opens up on why she left WWE.
On September 24, Jazmyn Nyx took to TikTok to confirm the PWInsider Elite report that she was set to leave WWE at the expiration of her contract. In the video, Nyx discussed how the three-year extension the company had offered her didn’t work out financially, prompting her decision not to re-sign. Now, the 27-year-old has shed some more light on the negotiations that led to her departure from WWE.
Speaking on the Ariel Helwani Show, Jazmyn Nyx said she tried to negotiate a raise with WWE, but the company wouldn’t budge on their offer.
“It was honestly kind of a long process for me, because it was like a back and forth situation. They reach out, they say, ‘Here’s what we are offering you for the next three years,’ and you either accept right then and there, or you try to negotiate. And I tried to negotiate, and the offer stood as it was. Went back a couple times, like, ‘Oh, what about this?’ No, offer stands. I just wanted any compensation… I felt like there definitely could have been a meet in the middle. But after I realized there was no budge, I was like, okay, that’s kind of where it stands. There’s nothing else I can do or say. It just was like, any sort of raise will do. And it was no raise. People who are coming in—obviously me — at that rate and after two years of being on TV every single Tuesday, working for TNA as well, I felt like maybe a raise would be understandable.”

Having had her first match in 2023, Jazmyn built up two years of experience with WWE. She became known for being a member of Fatal Influence, although the now former NXT star was somewhat hastily dropped from the faction on the September 23rd episode of the developmental show when it became clear she wasn’t extending her deal.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Jazmyn Nyx’s WWE departure as soon as we hear more.
