Nic Nemeth (FKA Dolph Ziggler) has praised John Cena.
For many fans, John Cena has epitomised WWE from the very first time they tuned into RAW or SmackDown. Having been with the company since 2002, the 17-time world champion rose to prominence during the Ruthless Aggression era and, as such, has seen the many different faces come and go across his two decades of in-ring experience. Now, one of Cena’s former rivals has praised him for always being willing to help.
Speaking to KVIA ABC-7, Nic Nemeth backed up WWE’s claim that John Cena is the greatest of all time, pointing out everything he’s done to give back to others, from giving advice to other wrestlers to granting wishes.
“I think a few years ago they (WWE) started calling him the greatest of all time and you got to go with it because he’s done so much, given back to so many different people. There was this Attitude Era and almost nobody came out of it, and we had John, and we had to lean on John for so many different things for 15-20 years. Having him go above and beyond, become an even bigger star to the world, but the best part to me is when he grants those wishes or when he comes back to WWE and gives back, or when he’s giving somebody advice behind the scenes.”

As of writing, there are just 4 dates left before the curtain falls on John Cena’s illustrious career. Last time out, the legend defeated AJ Styles at Crown Jewel in Perth, with both men paying tribute to their former rivals during the match.
While his next in-ring appearance is unknown, reports indicate that WWE have discussed the idea of Cena finally winning the Intercontinental Championship. You can read more about that here.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on John Cena before his retirement as soon as we hear more.
