AEW star Chris Jericho has praised TNA’s Bound For Glory.

TNA Wrestling’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view took place on October 12 at the Tsongas Center in Lowell, Massachusetts. The event saw Mike Santana defeat WWE’s Trick Williams to win the TNA World Championship in the main event.

Speaking on his Talk is Jericho podcast, Chris Jericho compared the attendance at the event to when AEW ran the ECW Arena, remarking that TNA looked like the second biggest promotion in the world.

“That crowd looked huge. It looked huge. It was like a WWE-level crowd. The place was packed. I was watching this and, not saying anything out of school here, but comparing it to watching Dynamite when they were at the ECW Arena, which looked like a Tony Condello taping — sorry, it did — TNA looked like the second biggest company in the world, and that was amazing. And the presentation was amazing.”

Wrestlenomics reported on November 10 that Bound For Glory sold at least 5,554 tickets, while TNA announced an attendance of 7,794. Public records show 6,137 tickets were scanned, though the promotion stated that standing room, additional guests, and staff brought the total higher.

Chris Jericho has been absent from All Elite Wrestling since AEW: Dynasty on 6 April, with multiple reports suggesting his contract is set to expire at the end of 2025. Amid speculation that he could return to WWE, possibly at the 2026 Royal Rumble, his recent comments are likely to fuel further discussion that his time with AEW could be drawing to a close.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the future of Chris Jericho as soon as we hear more.
