Joe Hendry is reportedly with WWE.
As part of WWE’s partnership with TNA, Joe Hendry began making appearances on NXT, and his prominence in the company kept growing to the point he was Randy Orton’s mystery opponent at WrestleMania 42. For a while, many fans have speculated that the Scotsman could end up joining the company on full-time basis, and, on September 18, Sports Illustrated released an update indicating Hendry was being phased off TNA programming, with the star expected to be with WWE by the start of 2026.
According to Fightful Select, it’s believed Joe Hendry has now officially signed with WWE.
“WWE sources confirmed that Hendry is effectively full-time with WWE at this point and officially with the company, and had been someone they wanted to bring in for quite some time.”
-Fightful Select
Hendry last wrestled for TNA during the September 27 tapings, and the Fightful report noted he wasn’t at October 12’s Bound For Glory. When it comes to WWE, the star has recently aligned with Thea Hail to go after AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions Ethan Page and Chelsea Green, with a title match set for NXT Gold Rush on November 18.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Joe Hendry’s WWE status as soon as we hear more.
