Ric Flair has high praise for Tony Khan.
On the October 25, 2023, edition of Dynamite, Ric Flair debuted for AEW, appearing as a gift from Tony Khan ahead of Sting’s retirement the following year. A week later, it was announced Flair had signed a multi-year deal with All Elite Wrestling, making occasional appearances for the company since inking the deal. Now, the industry legend has discussed what he thinks of Tony Khan.
Speaking to Casino Beats, Ric Flair called Tony Khan a great guy, saying he thinks the AEW Owner genuinely cares about everyone who works for him.
“Tony Khan is a really great guy. The guys over in AEW are great. Wrestling is in a good place right now. I can’t say enough good things about him. He is fantastic, and he is just a total gentleman, and I think he legitimately cares about everybody. They’re not just a number to him. I think he legitimately cares about everybody that works for him.”
