Could ‘The Phenomenal One’ be heading back to TNA?
On December 2, TNA Wrestling announced AMC Networks as their new broadcast partner, with their flagship show iMPACT! set to air live on AMC on January 15 and then every Thursday from 9 pm to 11 pm ET. The programme will also be available on AMC Networks’ streaming service AMC+.
Dave Meltzer has revealed in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that, according to a WWE source, TNA would like AJ Styles to compete on their AMC debut.
“One WWE source indicated that TNA would like to have AJ Styles wrestle on the first show.”

Meltzer also notes that it has always been WWE’s decision whether to allow Styles to appear on TNA shows. He did appear at TNA: Slammiversary on July 20, though WWE did not permit him to compete.
With TNA World Champion Frankie Kazarian indicating the pair’s intention to face each other one final time before it is all said and done, the company’s arrival on AMC could present the ideal opportunity for two of TNA’s greatest ever performers to have one last showdown.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on the prospect of AJ Styles competing in a TNA ring on AMC as soon as we hear more.
