The former WWE Superstar believes TNA can become her new home.
On January 15, Daria Rae, formerly known as Sonya Deville in WWE, made her TNA Wrestling debut on the AMC premiere of Thursday Night Impact!, where she was initially introduced as the Director of Operations by Director of Authority Santino Marella.
Appearing on Busted Open Radio, the former Sonya Deville revealed that she has signed a six month deal with TNA, although she can foresee a long-term future with the promotion.
“I signed a six month deal, I’ll tell you guys that. But I plan on seeing it through. I’m having a lot of fun. Everything’s going great so far, and as long as it’s a continuously mutually beneficial situation, meaning I’m adding value and I feel good about what I’m getting in return, then I don’t see why it wouldn’t continue long term.”

Despite the initial introduction from Marella, Daria Rae went on to berate TNA’s Director of Authority before introducing fellow former WWE star Elayna Black, previously known as Cora Jade.
Reports emerged on February 7 that WWE would not be renewing Sonya Deville’s contract ahead of her departure from the company. The former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion had initially told Chris Van Vliet in a July interview that she had retired from professional wrestling.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on future plans for Daria Rae in TNA Wrestling as soon as we hear more.
