Evans has over two years to capture world championship gold.

After his victory over El Grande Americano on last night’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Je’Von Evans is looking to continue the momentum of his main roster run and has his sights set on major accolades.

Speaking to Sam Roberts and Megan Morant on the latest episode of Raw Recap, Je’Von Evans said one of his main roster goals is to break Randy Orton’s record and become the youngest WWE World Champion in history.

“There’s a lot of goals that I want to accomplish, and one of those goals is to beat Randy Orton’s record. You feel me? Be the youngest World Heavyweight Champion. I feel like that’s something that I’m grinding for. I think he won it at 24, I believe. I turn 22 in April. I got more than two years, so let’s grind for that goal. Straight like that.”

Orton was 24 years old when he won the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam in 2004. With just over two years to achieve his goal, all eyes will be on the Young OG as he continues his rise towards main event status in WWE.

Evans and Orton crossed paths in the men’s Royal Rumble match on 31 January, with the fourteen-time world champion landing an RKO after Evans attempted a springboard cutter.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on future plans for Je’Von Evans as soon as we hear more.
