Randy Orton: I’ve Only Got So Many More Years That I’m Gonna Be Able To Do This

Time catches up to us all.
The past few months have seen both John Cena and AJ Styles bring their iconic WWE in ring careers to a close, and with a new wave of young stars emerging, another all time great is now questioning how much longer he can remain at the top of his game.
Ahead of competing in his tenth Elimination Chamber match this Saturday in Chicago, Randy Orton appeared on ESPN’s Get Up, where he spoke about the physical toll that staying active for so long has taken on his body, before admitting that time is running out on how often he can compete in these types of matches.
“10 Elimination Chambers is a lot of Elimination Chambers. My body’s been beaten up all over that ring. That Chamber, it is unforgiving, but I take a lot of experience with myself into that Chamber, and I’m gonna use it this Saturday, and I’m gonna win the thing and go to WrestleMania. I’ve only got so many more years that I’m gonna be able to do this, and I’m enjoying every second of it. So, at the Chamber, I gotta make it count.”

Orton will join LA Knight, Cody Rhodes, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, and one more WWE Superstar inside the Elimination Chamber in Chicago, Illinois on Saturday. A triple threat match is set for tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW between Bronson Reed, Jey Uso, and ‘The Original’ El Grande Americano to determine the final entrant.
With fourteen world title reigns to his name, Randy Orton will undoubtedly rank among WWE’s all-time greats when he eventually brings his career to an end. Until then, he’ll likely still have plenty of RKOs to dish out to the next generation.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Randy Orton’s future as soon as we hear more.
