Queen Aminata Says She’s Getting Her Neck Checked At Today’s AEW Dynamite In Denver

Queen Aminata is set for a checkup at AEW Dynamite tonight.
Since falling short to the Sisters of Sin alongside Jamia Hayter in the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Championship Tournament quarter-final, Queen Aminata has been absent from in-ring action due to a neck injury.
While discussing her recovery in her latest YouTube vlog, Aminata revealed that she is set to attend tonight’s AEW Dynamite in Denver, Colorado, to have her neck examined ahead of a potential return to the ring.
“I was supposed to fly on Tuesday to go to TV in LA to get my neck checked and all that stuff because I did my MRI. Everything is looking good. Not great. Good. So, I hope to be back pretty soon. Doc changed my schedule and I won’t be back at TV until the 25th in Denver. Hopefully everything looks good so I can get back in the ring and start rolling around.”

Before stepping away from the ring, Aminata had been engaged in a heated rivalry with Thekla, which was building towards a clash in the inaugural women’s Blood & Guts match.
With Thekla now at the top of the division as AEW Women’s World Champion, a returning Queen Aminata could be the next to step up and challenge the ‘Toxic Spider’.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Queen Aminata’s injury status as soon as we hear more, and we continue to wish her all the best in her recovery.
