Seth Rollins Says He Is Nearing A Return From Injury

Seth Rollins has revealed that his absence from WWE television could soon be coming to an end.
On October 11, Seth Rollins suffered a torn rotator cuff during his match with Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel: Perth, forcing The Vision’s now former leader to undergo shoulder surgery and explaining his subsequent absence from WWE television.
Speaking to Stephen A. Smith on First Take ahead of this Saturday’s Elimination Chamber in Chicago, Illinois, Seth Rollins revealed that he is edging closer to a return from injury and is now out of his sling.
“I will not be able to do anything this weekend, but we’re getting close. I can move [his shoulder] around. It’s not in a sling anymore. It’s feeling good. It was in October when I got the surgery, so you look at the timeline, we’re getting close. We’re not all the way there, but we’re getting close, guys.”

Following Rollins’ injury setback, WWE pivoted to Bron Breakker ejecting The Vision’s leader from the stable. However, Breakker has since found himself sidelined with a hernia injury of his own, with both men reportedly pushing to recover in time for WrestleMania 42 amid plans for a proposed singles clash between the pair.
This week’s edition of Monday Night RAW saw Bronson Reed, a fellow member of The Vision, suffer a torn biceps, an injury that forced WWE to alter its plans for both the Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania 42. You can read more about that here.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Seth Rollins’ injury status as soon as we hear more, and we continue to wish him all the best in his recovery.
