Ring of Honor held a set of ROH TV tapings at WJCT Studios in Jacksonville, Florida, on March 1, during which Tehuti Miles, better known to NXT fans as Ashante “Thee” Adonis, made his ROH return.

Following his ROH appearance, Fightful Select is reporting that Tehuti Miles has been under contract with All Elite Wrestling for several months.

“Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp has learned that Tehuti Miles, also known as Ashante “Thee” Adonis is officially under All Elite Wrestling contract. We’re told that he was signed in the first week of September, although he appeared on the March 1 ROH tapings.”

The then-Ashante “Thee” Adonis announced his departure from WWE on August 10, 2025, following the expiration of his contract. His initial tenure with the promotion ran from 2019 to 2021 and saw him compete across both NXT and 205 Live.

WWE fans will best remember Adonis for his time as a member of Hit Row alongside Isiah “Swerve” Scott, Top Dolla, and B-Fab. The quartet were released by WWE on 18 November 2021, with Adonis, Top Dolla, and B-Fab eventually returning to reform the group in August 2022. Scott, meanwhile, went on to achieve major success in All Elite Wrestling as Swerve Strickland.

The report notes that, having signed with All Elite Wrestling within a month of his departure from WWE, some were surprised that he did not take independent bookings. Such appearances have typically been commonplace for former WWE talent on their way to AEW in the past.

Furthermore, while Fightful Select adds that Tehuti Miles was expected to attract interest from TNA Wrestling after becoming a free agent, particularly following the success of his former Hit Row stablemate AJ Francis/Top Dolla, they are unaware of any specific talks taking place between the two sides.

Tehuti Miles faced Serpentico during the March 1 ROH tapings at WJCT Studios. Elsewhere at the event, Tony Khan announced that Jacksonville will serve as the official new home of Ring of Honor, with the next round of tapings scheduled to take place in three weeks’ time.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Tehuti Miles signing with AEW as soon as we hear more.
