Tatum Paxley On Blake Monroe: We’re Both Weird In Similar Ways

Tatum Paxley says she was intrigued by Blake Monroe even before she came to WWE.

Presented as an obsessive, creepy character in NXT, Tatum Paxley certainly isn’t like many others on the WWE roster. The 29-year-old’s unique persona has endeared her to a large portion of the developmental brand’s viewership, and her gimmick’s success even afforded her a run with the NXT Women’s Championship in 2025 after many fans had connected with her storylines with the likes of Lyra Valkyria and Izzi Dame. Now, Paxley has drawn comparisons between herself and Blake Monroe.

Speaking to Going Ringside, Paxley discussed being intrigued by Monroe, expressing how she thinks they’re both weird in similar ways.

“Even before she was here in NXT, she was always somebody that I just felt like I would just really get along with her. I think our minds are in different places. I think we have different mindsets, but we’re both very weird in similar ways. I would love the opportunity to just talk with her and just see how we vibe. How we get together. I’ve always been very intrigued by Blake Monroe, as many of us are.”

Blake Monroe turned heel shortly into her NXT run, leaning into the ‘Woman From Hell’ moniker she first used in AEW. Given how both Paxley and Monroe have some psychotic aspects to their presentation, an interaction between the pair would certainly make for interesting viewing should the company choose to go down that path in future.
