Dustin Rhodes Says He’ll Be Back In Action In Two Or Three Weeks

Dustin Rhodes looks set to return to AEW imminently.
During the July 31, 2025 edition of AEW Collision, Dustin Rhodes dropped the TNT Championship to Kyle Fletcher, after which the Don Callis Family member launched a brutal attack on Rhodes’ knee. Following the bout, Rhodes took to X to confirm that he had a legitimate knee injury that needed tending to, one that has kept him out of action up to the time of writing.
Speaking to Fox News after his mastiff Beast came third place in the working group open category at Crufts in the United Kingdom, Dustin Rhodes provided an update on his recovery timeline.
“I just had double knee replacements. So, they’re brand-new knees. They’re feeling pretty good. It’s a little tired today from all the walking – this [dog competition building] is such a huge venue. But probably two weeks, three weeks I’ll be back – TBS, TNT, HBO Max.”

Dustin Rhodes underwent double knee replacement surgery on August 21 and will be hoping to keep up the Rhodes family’s winning fortunes upon his return to AEW following Beast’s success at the world’s largest dog competition.
After dropping the title to Mark Briscoe, Kyle Fletcher now once again finds himself the holder of the TNT Championship, and thus may soon find himself with a target on his back courtesy of a returning Dustin Rhodes.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Dustin Rhodes’ return to the ring as soon as we hear more, and we continue to wish him all the best in his recovery.
