People In WWE Reportedly Hopeful Steve Austin Will Appear On Next Monday’s 3/16 RAW

WWE reportedly wants Steve Austin for next Monday’s RAW.
Although he hasn’t regularly competed in the ring since 2003, Steve Austin has made many part-time appearances for the company over the last two decades. Most recently, ‘The Rattlesnake’ emerged at last year’s WrestleMania 41 to announce the attendance of the show, though he’s yet to return to our screens since April. Almost a year on, we now know when WWE are hoping to have Steve Austin return.
According to WrestleVotes Live via Fightful Select, it’s believed WWE are hopeful Steve Austin will be on the 3/16 RAW, playing off his famous catchphrase.
“There have been conversations that… I don’t want to say WWE has invited Steve Austin to RAW next Monday night on 3/16 in San Antonio, Texas, but there are people who work for the company that are very hopeful Stone Cold Steve Austin will be on that Monday Night RAW.”

While Austin’s status for RAW remains unconfirmed, his involvement is made all the more likely considering the show is set to emanate from his home state of Texas. ‘The Lone Star State’ is particularly sentimental to the six-time WWF Champion, and it played a big part in tempting ‘The Rattlesnake’ back into the ring for a match with Kevin Owens in the main event of WrestleMania Saturday in 2022.
Also on the 3/16 edition of RAW, AJ Lee will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Becky Lynch, and the Original El Grande Americano will take on the newer El Grande Americano in a singles match. In terms of segments, both Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar are set to appear live on the road to WrestleMania 42.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Steve Austin’s next WWE appearance as soon as we hear more.
