Swerve Strickland has praise for three of WWE’s recent main roster debutants.

Since the beginning of 2026, Oba Femi, Trick Williams, and Je’Von Evans have all made their way from NXT to WWE’s main roster and are now three of the company’s most popular acts across both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown.

In a new interview with Baller Alert, former AEW World Championship holder Swerve Strickland had high praise for the trio of recent WWE main roster call-ups.

“WWE has some guys coming up like Oba Femi. Young dude, powerhouse, great dude. I look forward to his growth. Trick Williams. Charismatic, can talk anybody into a building. Look forward to his growth. Je’Von Evans. Young guy, he grew up watching me, he said. Now he’s 21 years old, living his dream on the main roster. Great kid. Looking forward to his growth.”

Swerve Strickland was released by WWE on November 18, 2021 and has since made his name as one of All Elite Wrestling’s top stars. Elsewhere during the interview, Swerve claimed that AEW pays more than WWE. You can read more about that here.

Following a brutal attack on Kenny Omega, Swerve Strickland looks to be back to his villainous best as he readies himself to take on Brody King at AEW Revolution this Sunday.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on future plans for Oba Femi, Trick Williams, and Je’Von Evans as soon as we hear more.
