William Regal & Fit Finlay Reportedly Expected To Appear Regularly On NXT Going Forward

We could be seeing a lot more of William Regal and Fit Finlay on WWE NXT moving forward.

Last night’s episode of NXT saw Charlie Dempsey betray Tavion Heights and join The Birthright, with both William Regal and Fit Finlay making an appearance as the turn occurred.

Following the pair’s appearance, PWInsider Elite are now reporting that William Regal had been both away from the WWE Performance Center and off the road for some time, though both he and Fit Finlay are now expected to feature regularly on NXT.

“Prior to his appearance on WWE NXT last night, William Regal has not been seen at the WWE Performance Center in some time. We are also told he had been off the road for the main roster for an extended period of time, so this was his first appearance at a WWE event in any capacity in some time. The expectation is that he and Dave [Fit] Finlay will be appearing regularly on NXT going forward.”

Alongside the pair’s real-life sons, Charlie Dempsey and Uriah Connors, William Regal and Fit Finlay join a lineup that also includes Arianna Grace, the daughter of Santino Marella, and her fiancé Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo, as well as Lexis King, the son of Brian Pillman.

This week’s episode of NXT additionally saw Interim General Manager Robert Stone announce a tournament to decide The Vanity Project’s challengers for the NXT Tag Team Championship at NXT Stand & Deliver, with The Birthright set to feature along with The Culling, Sean Legacy and Eli Knight, OTM, Hank & Tank, and DarkState.
