Jade Cargill Says Naomi Brings Out The Best In Her In The Ring

Jade Cargill has named Naomi as the opponent who brings out the best in her.
In the two years since Jade Cargill’s WWE debut, perhaps her biggest highlight has been her storyline with Naomi. The former Women’s World Champion was revealed to be the mystery attacker who sidelined Cargill for several months at the back end of 2024, and the pair would go on to face off at both WrestleMania 41 and Evolution. Now, Cargill has reflected on her matches with Naomi, offering high praise for her rival.
Appearing on Hawks AF, Cargill was asked to name the person who brings the best out of her in the ring. Here, she recalled her matches with Naomi at Evolution, praising her opponent’s character work.
“We actually had that match here for Evolution at the State Farm Arena. We had a [No Holds Barred] match where we were just using trash cans. I got a camera, hit her in the gut with it. Got a trash can, put it over her trash head and knocked her in. It was crazy. I would say Naomi. Her character work is extremely good.”

Their No Holds Barred match in July closed over a year of storytelling as Jade Cargill and Naomi went from standing side by side in a trio with Bianca Belair to having one of WWE’s most intense rivalries. From there, the star switched her focus to SmackDown’s top prize.
Despite not being successful in any of her first three attempts to win the gold, Cargill defeated Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship at Saturday Night’s Main Event in November. Up next, she’s set to defend the title against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 42.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Jade Cargill as soon as we hear more.
