WWE are reportedly planning a Women’s Tag Team Championship four-way match at WrestleMania.

Particularly since Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY lost the Women’s Tag Team Championships to Lash Legend and Nia Jax last month, many have been wondering what the company are planning for the division at WrestleMania. With The Bellas having announced themselves as top contenders for the titles and the team of Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss still looking to reclaim the gold, no team has emerged as the frontrunners to challenge The Irresistible Forces at the ‘Show Of Shows’. Now, more has emerged on WWE’s plans.

According to Bodyslam, it’s believed WWE are planning a four-way match for the Women’s Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 42.

“Sources indicate to Bodyslam that the WrestleMania match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship will be The Irresistible Forces vs Charlexa vs The Bella Twins vs Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.”

In recent weeks, Jax and Legend have defended the gold against Charlexa and The Bella Twins respectively. However, after each team cost the other the chance to leave as champions, neither match had a satisfying conclusion. The report also follows on from Bayley and Lyra Valkyria stating their intention to come after the titles following their win over The Kabuki Warriors.

Elsewhere on the WrestleMania card, two other women’s division matches are currently set in stone. On the SmackDown side of things, Jade Cargill will defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Rhea Ripley while RAW’s Stephanie Vaquer will put the Women’s World Title on the line in a clash with Royal Rumble winner Liv Morgan.
