Rob Van Dam Says He’d Be Open To A WWE Return

RVD is open to a return to WWE.
Following nearly a year out of action due to a heel injury, Rob Van Dam made his return to the ring in February for Battle Championship Wrestling, and it appears he is open to more than just a final run on the independent scene.
Speaking to TMZ Inside The Ring, Rob Van Dam was asked whether he would be open to a return to WWE for a potential retirement tour or match, and he made it clear that he is keeping all of his options on the table.
“I am open to consider anything. That’s part of being open-minded. I try not to shut anything out without at least considering it. When it comes to something like that, they got my number. They can talk to me. I’ll be appearing at WWE World… We can definitely have that conversation. As far as a retirement tour, unless I change my perspective, which always happens, you’re always looking at everything from a different place in life if you keep going. But the way I feel now is I don’t like the idea of labeling something ‘retirement’ or I don’t really want to know if I’m having my last match when I am.”
