WWE Reportedly Optimistic Chelsea Green Could Be Cleared Soon

Chelsea Green could be cleared to return by WWE sooner rather than later.

Former two-time WWE Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green has been absent from in-ring action since the February 6 edition of Friday Night SmackDown after suffering an ankle fracture, though there is now a positive update on her recovery status.

According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, Chelsea Green is making good progress towards an in-ring return, though it is unclear whether she will be cleared in time for WrestleMania 42.

“Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select has learned that Chelsea Green seems to be progressing well from her ankle injury. There’s internal optimism that she could be cleared sooner than later, but it’s unclear whether or not that will happen before WrestleMania.”

The report also notes that Chelsea Green was adamant about maintaining an onscreen presence while injured and is expected to remain a prominent character on both Friday Night SmackDown and AAA.
