The Good Brothers are big fans of AEW World Champion MJF.

Since joining All Elite Wrestling in January 2019 as part of its founding roster, Maxwell Jacob Friedman has rapidly established himself as one of professional wrestling’s biggest stars and now finds himself in his second reign as AEW World Champion after turning 30 this month.

Speaking to TMZ’s Inside The Ring alongside his tag team partner Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson had nothing but praise when discussing MJF’s rise to the top.

“To be able to see MJF on this rise before he’s even, you know, still in his 20s, man. Because I was broke until I was 28 and then New Japan hired me at 28. Then my rise started later. MJF is already a main event superstar before he’s even 30. I think everybody should, love him or hate him, just try to appreciate him.”

Despite making a handful of appearances for All Elite Wrestling in 2021 through the promotion’s working relationship with Impact Wrestling, The Good Brothers have yet to share the ring with MJF.

Doc Gallows went on to compare MJF to Randy Orton and noted that he believes an eventual babyface turn will produce record-breaking success for All Elite Wrestling.

“We were talking about Randy Orton earlier, and you kind of have to compare the career path of MJF and Randy Orton. Because Randy Orton comes on TV as a clean cut babyface. He immediately turns heel. He learns how to get a ton of heat and he’s a perennial bad guy for years. So think about 10 years from now, 15 years from now, sooner, who knows how it peaks, how it works out? But think about the babyface that MJF will truly be when the time comes to have the full-blown, long-standing babyface run. He’ll probably break all the merchandise records in AEW.”

MJF is set to defend the AEW World Championship against The Good Brothers’ former Bullet Club stablemate Kenny Omega at AEW Dynasty on April 12.

Elsewhere during the interview, Karl Anderson claimed that Dominik Mysterio is a future WWE World Champion. You can read more about that here.

As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on future plans for MJF as soon as we hear more.
