Liv Morgan: I Hoped I’d Make It To WWE, I Have Pinch Me Moments Every Day

Liv Morgan opens up on whether she thought she’d become a star in WWE.
First signing in 2014, Liv Morgan had no prior professional wrestling experience when she inked a deal with WWE around 12 years ago. Being a lifelong fan of the industry, the 31-year-old was able to rise through the ranks, and has become one of the top names in the women’s division. Now a three-time world champion, Morgan has addressed whether she always thought she’d become a star in WWE.
In an interview with Esteban Ramirez, Liv Morgan discussed always hoping she’d make it to WWE, saying that signing with the company was enough for her.
“I’d hoped so. I had hoped that I’d reach this point, but honestly for me, just making it to WWE was enough for me. Just making it to my pipe dream growing up and being able to see that through, that was enough for me. So to have all this success and accolades a decade later, I’m just really proud and I have pinch me moments every single day.”

After making her in-ring debut, Morgan spent two years in NXT before her main roster arrival in 2017. From there, it was almost five years before she was able to win her first world championship, though she’s now an established as a regular challenger for the promotion’s biggest honours.
On that note, Morgan is set to challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 42 after the Judgment Day member won the Royal Rumble match back in January.
Elsewhere in the interview, Morgan discussed whether she prefers being a babyface or a heel. You can read more about that here.
As always, we’ll aim to provide any further updates on Liv Morgan as soon as we hear more.
