Kyle Fletcher Reportedly Suspected To Have Sustained A Meniscus Injury

AEW will reportedly be without Kyle Fletcher for an extended period of time.
On the March 28 edition of Collision, fans saw Kyle Fletcher land awkwardly after Mark Davis inadvertently connected with his tag partner’s knee as both men came to the mat. Shortly after, it was reported by Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline that Fletcher left the show in a walking boot, with little else known about the injury. Unfortunately, it now seems like ‘The Protostar’ is set for significant time on the sidelines.
According to an update from Fightful Select, Kyle Fletcher is suspected to have sustained a meniscus injury, with it noted that additional injuries will only increase the amount of time he’s sidelined.
“Kyle Fletcher was suspected to have sustained a meniscus injury that will sideline him for quite some time as well. We’re told there are additional injuries that he sustained as well that could rack up his time out of the ring.”

Fletcher has unfortunately joined fellow Don Callis Family members Jake Doyle and Josh Alexander on the injury list. While Doyle has been out since the January 28 Dynamite with torn biceps, Alexander suffered a knee injury on March 22 Collision. Both men recently underwent successful surgery.
As yet, there’s been no indication as to how AEW plan to move forward with the TNT Championship. However, it’s fair to say the company won’t be short of options with regard to the title, particularly since former champions Tommaso Ciampa and Mark Briscoe will likely have eyes on regaining the gold.
